Juniors
We have over 100 juniors aged between 5 and 18 years. Junior membership at the Grove is open to absolutely anyone, regardless of standard.
The club runs coaching sessions during term time, tennis camps during the Easter and summer holidays and also hosts the Grove LTA Open Tournament in August. The club is also involved with local schools. The coaches are available to visit local schools to offer free taster sessions and the children are invited to come to the club for coaching.
The juniors play in the local Chelmsford & District (doubles) and Essex Junior League (singles and doubles) on Saturdays. There is a Club Junior Tournament with finals day and barbeque in September. Juniors who achieve intermediate standard are invited to play in adult matches and social sessions.
