Welcome

The Grove Tennis club is a well established and friendly club in the Old Moulsham area of Chelmsford with 6 all weather floodlit courts, clubhouse with licensed bar and carpark. The Club was established in 1893 and takes its name from Grove Road where it was originally sited.

There is an active social tennis programme, with midweek, evening and weekend sessions. The club enters teams for the local and Essex leagues at junior, adult and veterans levels, providing plenty of opportunity for both informal and competitive tennis at all levels.

A full time tennis coach and 3 part time coaches offer a wide range of options for training from junior to senior level, in either individual or group sessions.

With a membership approaching 350, the Grove is a thriving club and encourages new members to join in with our extensive range of activities.
